In addition, used the same conditions for electrochem. dehydrogenative amination of diarylmethanes with benzophenone imine as an aminating agent to obtain II [Ar3 = Ph, 4-MeC6H4, 4-FC6H4; Ar4 = Ph, 4-MeC6H4, 4-FC6H4, 4-ClC6H4]. The reactions showed good functional group tolerance and afforded the corresponding products in moderate to good yields without the use of a stoichiometric oxidant, a metal catalyst, or an activating agent.

A three component protocol has been developed for the synthesis of N-aroyl sulfoximines by the carbonylation of aryl halides followed by nucleophilic attack of NH-sulfoximines.
