After 15 hours, the mixture was diluted with EtOAc, filtered through celite and concentrated. The residue was chromatographed to give 2-methyl-6-(4,4,5,5- tetramethyl- 1,3 ,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)benzo [d]oxazole as a light orange solid (1 .30 g, 100%), MS m/z 260.4 [M+H].
