Recommanded Product: 92-86-4. I found the field of Environmental Sciences & Ecology very interesting. Saw the article A novel 3D-QSA(2)R model assisted with a log-normalized method and its application in molecular modification published in 2020, Reprint Addresses Li, Y (corresponding author), North China Elect Power Univ, Moe Key Lab Resources & Environm Syst Optimizat, Beijing, Peoples R China.. The CAS is 92-86-4. Through research, I have a further understanding and discovery of 4,4′-Dibromobiphenyl.

The long-range migration ability of persistent organic pollutants was characterized by both K-OA and P-L. It is difficult for a traditional model of 3D-QSAR to capture the relationship between the double activities of pollutants and their structures. To this end, a log-normalized method was employed to treat a given data set (K-OA and P-L values) to obtain a comprehensive activity (Z) that represents the long-range migration ability of polyhalogenated biphenyls. Then, the relationship between the comprehensive activity of polyhalogenated biphenyls and their structures could be constructed; the proposed model was named the three-dimensional quantitative structure-double-activities relationship (3D-QSA(2)R) model. Two new PCB-52 molecules with a reduced ability for long-range migration were designed after analyses of the contour maps, with Z values increasing significantly by 30.44-41.30%, and the environmental persistence, bioconcentration and biotoxicity decreased by 3.37-8.99%, 26.86-26.73% and -1.17-3.50%, respectively, compared with those of PCB-52. logK(OA) and logP(L) values of the novel modified PCB-52 were predicted as 3.20-4.57% and 74.57-79.19%, respectively, by the EPI database software, and these values showed a consistent increasing trend with the Z values predicted by 3D-QSA(2)R, indicating that the established 3D-QSA(2)R could be used to deal with the relationship between the multi-activities of organic pollutants and their structures.

The valency (connectivity) of building units in covalent organic frameworks (COFs) has been primarily 3 and 4, corresponding to triangles and squares or tetrahedrons, respectively. We report a strategy for making COFs with valency 8 (cubes) and infinity (rods). The linker 1,4-boronophenylphosphonic acid-designed to have boron and phosphorus as an isoelectronic combination of carbon-group elements-was condensed into a porous, polycubane structure (BP-COF-1) formulated as (-B4P4O12-)(-C6H4-)4. It was characterized by x-ray powder diffraction techniques, which revealed cubes linked with phenyls. The isoreticular forms (BP-COF-2 to 5) were similarly prepared and characterized. Large single crystals of a constitutionally isomeric COF (BP-COF-6), composed of rod units, were also synthesized using the same strategy, thus propelling COF chemistry into a new valency regime.

Newly designed dimethylamine-substituted triphenylamine (TPA) derivatives, N,N’-(1,4-phenylene)bis(N-(4-((tert-butyldimethylsilyl)oxy)phenyl)-N ”,N ”-dimethylbenzene-1,4-diamine) (NTPPA-2Si) and N,N’4(1,1′-biphenyl)-4,4′-diyl)bis(N-(4-((tert-butyldimethylsilyl)oxy)pheny1)-N ”,N ”-dimethylbenzene-1,4-diamine) (NTPB-2Si), with silyl ether protecting groups were readily synthesized. Subsequently, novel electroactive aromatic poly(ether sulfone)s (PES), NTPPA-PES and NTPB-PES, could be obtained from silyl polycondensation. The PESs were readily soluble in commonly used laboratory organic solvents and could be solution-cast into tough and amorphous films with moderate levels of glass-transition temperature around 220 degrees C and thermal stability without significant weight loss up to 400 degrees C under nitrogen or air atmosphere. The Nernst equation method was used to explore the number of electrons transferred at each oxidation step of the targeted two monomers. Furthermore, these two anodic electrochromic PESs were introduced into electrochromic devices accompanied with cathodic heptyl viologen (HV), and the resulted devices demonstrated a high coloration contrast and excellent electrochemical stability. The salen-porphyrin based conjugated microporous polymer (SP-CMP) was first constructed by polycondensation reaction of a salen-dialdehyde derivative and pyrrole. Due to the outstanding chemical and thermal stability, abundant micropores with a reasonable pore size, and ordered salen-porphyrin arrays in the A(4)B(4)-type polymer framework, the functional CMP was further applied as a Pd nanoparticle support by the coordinate interactions between the polydentate chelating sites with Pd(OAc)(2) and subsequent reduction with NaBH4. The as-synthesized composite material (Pd@SP-CMP) was fully characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and solid-state C-13 nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). The porous property of Pd@SP-CMP was also characterized by N-2 adsorption/desorption isotherms and the obtained material exhibited a Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) surface area of 266 m(2) g(-1), together with a pore volume of 0.192 cm(3) g(-1). The microscopic morphology of Pd@SP-CMP was further evaluated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The Pd@SP-CMP material with highly dispersed Pd nanoparticles exhibited excellent catalytic activity towards Suzuki-Miyaura and Heck-Mizoroki coupling reactions in water or in the dioxane/water mixture. In addition, Pd@SP-CMP also displayed outstanding stability and recyclability, and it can be reused without loss of activity in ten successive reactions. More importantly, the salen-porphyrin based CMPs could be the promising candidates for developing high-performance heterogeneous catalysts.

A nickel-catalyzed cross-electrophile coupling reaction between (hetero)aryl bromides and 2,2-difluorovinyl tosylate is presented. This protocol provides facile incorporation of the gem-difluorovinyl moiety in organic molecules. The method features mild reaction conditions, good functional group tolerance, and excellent yields. Furthermore, mechanistic experiments and DFT studies indicate a Ni(0)/Ni(II) catalytic cycle, thus differing from the currently accepted catalytic cycle for nickel-catalyzed C(sp(2))-C(sp(2)) cross-electrophile coupling reactions.

The Name is 4,4′-Dibromobiphenyl. Through research, I have a further understanding and discovery of 92-86-4.

Solar steam generation has been proven to be one of the most efficient approaches for harvesting solar energy for diverse applications such as distillation, desalination, and production of freshwater. Here, the synthesis of monolithic carbon aerogels by facile carbonization of conjugated microporous polymer nanotubes as efficient solar steam generators is reported. The monolithic carbon-aerogel networks consist of randomly aggregated hollow-carbon-nanotubes (HCNTs) with 100-250 nm in diameter and a length of up to several micrometers to form a hierarchically nanoporous network structure. Treatment of the HCNTs aerogels with an ammonium peroxydisulfate/sulfuric acid solution endows their superhydrophilic wettability which is beneficial for rapid transportation of water molecules. In combination with their abundant porosity (92%) with open channel structure, low apparent density (57 mg cm(-3)), high specific surface area (826 m(2) g(-1)), low thermal conductivity (0.192 W m(-1) K-1), and broad light absorption (99%), an exceptionally high conversion efficiency of 86.8% is achieved under 1 sun irradiation, showing great potential as an efficient photothermal material for solar steam generation. The findings may provide a new opportunity for tailored design and creation of new carbon-aerogels-based photothermal materials with adjustable structure, tunable porosity, simple fabrication process, and high solar energy conversion efficiency for solar steam generation.

Exciton binding energy has been regarded as a crucial parameter for mediating charge separation in polymeric photocatalysts. Minimizing the exciton binding energy of the polymers can increase the yield of charge-carrier generation and thus improve the photocatalytic activities, but the realization of this approach remains a great challenge. Herein, a series of linear donor-acceptor conjugated polymers has been developed to minimize the exciton binding energy by modulating the charge-transfer pathway. The results reveal that the reduced energy loss of the charge-transfer state can facilitate the electron transfer from donor to acceptor, and thus, more electrons are ready for subsequent reduction reactions. The optimized polymer, FSO-FS, exhibits a remarkable photochemical performance under visible light irradiation.

While there is a growing interest in harnessing synergistic effects of more than one metal in catalysis, relatively little is known beyond bimetallic systems. This report describes the straightforward access to an air-stable Pd trimer and presents unambiguous reactivity data of its privileged capability to differentiate C-I over C-Br bonds in C-C bond formations (arylation and alkylation) of polyhalogenated arenes, which typical Pd-0 and Pd-I-Pd-I catalysts fail to deliver. Experimental and computational reactivity data, including the first location of a transition state for bond activation by the trimer, are presented, supporting direct trimer reactivity to be feasible.

We have used functionalized carbazoles and indenoquonoxalines as the main building units and enthynyl groups as the pi-linkages to construct two novel dendritic fluorophores and studied their degenerate multi-photon absorption properties in both the solution phase and the neat-film state within femtosecond and nanosecond regions. In our experiments, these model compounds are found to manifest strong and widely dispersed two-photon absorption as well as effective power-limiting properties against ultra-short laser pulses in the near-IR region. In addition, both chromophores exhibit medium to strong three-photon-induced fluorescence, indicating such scaffold may serve as a reference structural motif for the development of three-photon materials.

A deep-blue thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) emitter TXADO-spiro-DMACF has been reported for nondoped organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) by integrating an appropriate blocking unit with the donor (D)-acceptor (A)-donor (D)-type TADF emitter via a spiro linkage. Benefiting from the characteristic perpendicular arrangement, the intermolecular interactions are expected to be weakened to some degree. As a result, TXADO-spiro-DMACF shows a very small bathochromic shift of 8 nm associated with a narrowed full width at half maximum of 54 nm on going from solution to the film. The corresponding nondoped device successfully achieves a bright deep-blue emission, revealing Commission Internationale de l’Eclairage coordinates of (0.16, 0.09) and a peak external quantum efficiency of 5.3% (5.3 cd/A, 5.9 lm/W). The results clearly indicate that spiro-blocking is a promising strategy to develop deep-blue TADF emitters capable of nondoped OLEDs.
